Leader - Media Makeup classes
Tuesday 7pm-8:30pm
Role Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Media Makeup practitioner to design, plan, and deliver engaging art and media makeup workshops for young people aged 13 upwards. This role involves developing and producing designs that allow development in a range of techniques - such as special effects, fashion, theatre, and film makeup - while working collaboratively to encourage young people to challenge themselves to create projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, plan, and deliver engaging workshops in media makeup.
Encourage creativity, self-expression, and personal development.
Collaborate to create a variety of techniques, allowing creative freedom and exploration throughout.
Maintain a safe, organised workshop space.
Train and support volunteers.
Qualifications and Skills include:
Degree or equivalent in art, performing arts, education, or a related field.
Experience with young people, especially those with additional needs.
Strong knowledge of various art forms.
Familiarity with safeguarding policies.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain).
Salary:
Starts at £25 based on skill set and experience level.

Outreach and Community Leader
Daytime, weekends and school holidays
Role Description:
We are seeking creative practitioners to lead engaging arts workshops for young people aged 5-19, focusing on visual arts, theatre, dance, music, and mixed media. The role involves fostering creativity, confidence, and self-expression in an inclusive environment, while adapting workshops to meet diverse needs and collaborating with caregivers and educators. These may be ad-hoc sessions in the daytime as outreach to schools and community groups, or projects that will take place at weekends or within the school holidays.
Qualifications and Skills include:
Degree or equivalent in visual arts, theatre, dance, music, and other art genres and relevant field.
Adaptive teaching practices, with experience in teaching young people (especially those with additional needs).
Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
Familiarity with safeguarding policies.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain).
Key Responsibilities:
Leading workshops in various art forms (e.g., visual arts, theatre, dance, music).
Creating a supportive, inclusive environment.
Managing workshop logistics and evaluating progress.
Providing training to staff and promoting the program.
Train and support volunteers.
Salary:
Starts at £25 based on skill set and experience level.
